Welcome to our Atlantic region of the Canadian Poetry Association!

We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better. This is where poetry comes in. It can open the minds of young and old alike.

A wonderful sharing of words.

This site will present our organization's members' cause or ideas to the world. As communicating isn't always easy, we'll try to include photos and images that convey our message (remember, a well-chosen picture is a great way to get a point across). We'll also include specific information about our organization and its members, so no one forgets the people behind the pictures.

On this site, we'll introduce the Peoples' Bookshop. Here we will include authors and their books including a link to reach the author on a personal level.

The main aims of the Canadian Poetry Association are: To promote the reading, writing, publishing and preservation of poetry in Canada through the individual efforts of members; to promote communication among poets, publishers and the general public; to encourage leadership and participation from members and to encourage the formation and development of autonomous local chapters.

This area will be a photo dedicated area
for poets, artists and musicians who
contribute to the Arts in their own special way.
