WASTED NO TIME In Memory of The Honorable Pierre Elliot Trudeau
You have wasted no time And never wavered love Your sons and daughters Our people lined strong
Respect flowered like a rose Tossed in faith Down the rails of time To those who listen and wait Rose petals lined our borders today As a distant bells cry held All at attention

UPON THE SHORE
Upon the shore the tides trickle in Forming the land another day
The morning sun rises like an old woman who lives alone Eying the horizon glow of the days first cigarette
With a gentle breeze morning birds tiptoe in the waters Not to awaken what lies beneath the bed
The sands fragile existence clings to rocks and seashells Like old favorite toys
In the distance footprints When we stopped to brush off our sandals
Our bodies hunger like sharks in the morning waters The salt remains unquenchable
On the shoreline sandals Like old boats upon the shore

DANCES WITH FIREFLYS
Tonight the moon Moves as if flipped Like a dime between Index finger and thumb... And indeed I am to view these Dances with Fireflies My heartbeat echoes here - within these lines A silver pin balancing earth and universe Dancing on the evenings fluid sky Wakeful as the waves crescent on the bay Fireworks
And here, you and I are, starring. Breathless
Here I am!

THE DUST WILL NEVER SETTLE Little Satan is Canada Big Satan is the USA according to Bin Laden followers. America At War September 11, 2001
Little Satan watching Paranoid and cautious As morning flowers over NY City Puppet planes whose strings were pulled and cut Tore into NYs Twin Towers erupting into back draft flames
Horrors REPLAY on news casts Cell phone silence Workers leap in fear from buildings in clouds of dust The earth rumbles To the rhythm of the dead
As people stand for anthems Haunting tapping on steel defy the three minutes of silence Memorials that are world wide Garland this planet to wear After this moment of nakedness
The statue of Liberty? Standing for Freedom The rain mingling with its tears Remembrance Let not blood color our earth
Pope John Paul kneeling in white, Hands upon his face in anguish, as The world is under siege All are on alert For the judgment hour to come
I am calm But scared for I know The dust will never settle The dust will never settle The dust will never settle
